University of Toronto – Kruger Hall

We designed a complete structural renovation of Woodsworth College’s Kruger hall to give this former examination facility a badly needed facelift. The design scope included a steel structure for a new, spacious and modern mezzanine for students to study, relax, socialize and hold events, as well as an elaborate steel staircase. All existing roof trusses were analyzed and reinforced to bring the building up to par with current building codes.
